Invitation to the 11th Kuramae Employment Information Exchange (K-meet)

The Tokyo Tech Alumni Association and the Tokyo Tech Student Support Center will hold the 11th “Kuramae Employment Information Exchange “(K-meet).
Approximately 190 companies, ranging from large corporations to ventures, that are actively seeking to hire Tokyo Tech students will be present at the event on Tuesday, March 5th, Wednesday, March 6th, and Thursday, March 7th with each day rotating.
As the job-hunting season approaches, take advantage of this rare opportunity to meet senior employees and human resources personnel from your preferred companies in person. Following the booth exhibition, we will host a student-industry buffet mixer where you can freely converse with company representatives while enjoying complimentary refreshments. This is the first time such an event has been held in many years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This event has been very popular in the past, so please register in advance and join us.

We have also prepared tools to facilitate your job hunting.
  • Company Contact System (for students to contact companies)
  • Student Contact System (for company to contact students)
The above tools are very effective when you want to directly contact companies you are interested in or when you want to know what kind of companies are interested in you. For more information, please refer to the “Job Hunting Support Tools” section below (Section 4). Please note that there is a deadline for applications to use the “Student Contact System”.

*As part of the job hunting support, "Kuramae Online Job Hunt Consultation" will be held on Tuesday, February 27th, one week before the K-meet. (For details, please refer to "Kuramae Online Job Hunt Consultation " below.)

4-1) Company Contact System:
This is a system that allows students to contact company representatives directly by sending contact information (name, grade, affiliation, e-mail address) to the company's recruiting office at your request, with the Kuramae Industrial Association acting as an intermediary. There is no application (usage) deadline. To use the system, please access the following URL: "SUPPORT TOOL 03" on the page of "Job hunting support materials and tools".

4-2) Student Contact System:
When you register for the K-meet, you will be asked if you would like to be contacted by companies. If you wish to be contacted by a company, please register your grade, school and major, as well as information such as "Research interests" and "Areas of expertise”. This information will be provided to the companies anonymously (without revealing your name). If there is a company that wishes to contact you, we will inform you of the name of that company in advance, and you are free to visit their booth at the K-meet venue or contact them later via the “Company Contact System”. If you are not interested, there is no need to do anything. This registration may lead to companies that you may not have considered before and may provide you with an opportunity to develop a new career vision. If you wish to use this system, please register by Friday, February 22nd. If you register after this deadline, you will not be able to use the system.

*After registering, you will receive a confirmation email to your registered email address. You will be able to access the "K-meet Student Participation Board" with the URL and ID/PW provided. If you do not receive an e-mail, please re-register as the address may be incomplete.
*We will update the list of participating companies, introduction of the companies (on the web), company booth layout and notices from companies. Please make sure to check them frequently.
